PROJECT: PEOPLE En Espanol Festival Advertisements
To drive attention to the Festival Concert and convention in San Antonio, Texas
I worked alongside a freelancer designer to rework materials to create an advertisement that would showcase the artists' attending both the daytime and night time events. I had to include information such as the location of the event, the date and time of the event, the social network information, and sponsors. I also had to create Facebook timeline cover images that would showcase individual musicians attending the event.
I created a half page advertisement that ran in a local newspaper in San Antonio. I also created eleven different Facebook timeline covers showcasing the musicians that were going to perform at the convention. The Facebook banners ran on PEOPLE En Español’s Facebook page.
PROJECT: MLB Allstar Game Web Banners
To create awareness of the upcoming 2013 MLB All Star game.
Working with the creative director, I mocked up a few types of web banners in different sizes. The banners needed to show the time and date of the event and where it can be watched.
I created three web banners that have consistent colors and information. I used two different logo lockups provided by the MLB.
To drive awareness about upcoming events. These events are internal only, some are for PEOPLE VIP members only.
The information to include in the E-Blasts is sent to me from a person in integrated marketing. This information can include an upcoming event that we are having in the office or a PEOPLE VIP Premium offer. Typographical elements are very important when creating these and it is important to emphasize any names and the date of the event.
I worked with the people in integrated marketing to get images and copy for the E-Blasts. The E-Blasts for upcoming musicians were sent to the entire staff at PEOPLE Magazine and the PEOPLE VIP E-Blasts were sent to PEOPLE Magazine Premium Subscribers.
